On May 9, 2019, the US government announced that since May 10th 2019, the tariff rate imposed on the $200 billion list of goods imported from China, will be increased from 10% to 25%. The above measures by the US have led to an escalation of economic & trade frictions, which have harmed the interests of both sides.
On the evening of May 13th 2019, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of China, announced that it will increase the tariff rate from 10% to 25% against the US$200 billion list of goods,which are originated produced in the United States.
Among them, 2493 pcs of items are subject to a 25% tariff; for 1078 items, 20% are imposed; for 974 items, 10% are imposed. For 595 items of tax items, a 5% tariff is still imposed.
